For over 35 years The Fairfield Gonzales Community Association, a nonprofit, charitable, community-based organization has provided programs, services, community events and advocacy for the neighborhood of Fairfield and Gonzales.

Help us reach our vision fora healthy, vibrant, responsive and caring community”.

Your donations help sustain the Fairfield Community Place, our neighborhood centre, and the many programs and services it houses, ranging from licensed childcare and youth drop-ins to a commercial grade kitchen.  Your contribution enables community building projects and our many volunteer-run committees ensure that Fairfield-Gonzales remains neighborhood driven, environmentally conscious and a beautiful place to live, work and play.

Purchase A Fairfield History

Local Author, Local History, Local Support
“The things you don’t know about your neighbours!” reads the description on the back of the book A Fairfield History by local author Ken Roueche. This book captures the treasures that are the people, places and history of the Fairfield neighborhood. Spanning from the time when the area was home to the Songhees First Nation all the way to the mid-1970’s when residents first started the FGCA, this piece of history is a great way to learn about the place where you live, work and enjoy.

  • A Fairfield History is now available for $20 at the Fairfield Community Place, at 1330 Fairfield rd, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the FGCA. Support you community association by supporting local authors!
