PLACE AND PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS

We have a variety of  volunteer opportunities to assist with our programs based at the Fairfield Community Place.  Volunteers do not have to hold membership with the FGCA.  Previous work assignments include archive assistance, facility support, garden maintenance and program support.   If you are interested in making a regular contribution to our community centre operations contact volunteer@fairfieldcommunity.ca or call the Place at 250-382-4604.

FGCA Information Booth Volunteer at the Moss St. Market The FGCA is looking for one or more persons to represent the FGCA at the Moss Street Market on Saturdays from 9am-2pm. May to October.

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

A number of special events such as FALLFAIRfield and the Fairfield Artist Studio Tour are hosted by the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association.   Upcoming events require many hands to make them possible.   If you would like to be added to our special event volunteer roster, pleas email volunteer@fairfieldcommunity.ca.

Community Jazz Gala Fundraising Event Volunteers We are looking for folks who are interested in helping make our February fundraising event a success. There are a wide range of roles and tasks. Please email Karri van Nostrand event@fairfieldcommunity.ca for more information.

COMMITTEE AND BOARD WORK

FGCA Board of Directors
The FGCA board of directors is the opportunity for up to fifteen active members to take on a formal leadership role with the association.  Our AGM is held in the fall and all members are eligible to stand for renewable two year terms of service.  If you are interested in joining the Board please email president@fairfieldcommunity.ca or call 250 385-8888.
