Drop-In Programs

Our Family Program drop-ins and Five Points Preschool
take a break for the summer months ( to accommodate our school-age day camps).
RESUMES FALL 2010
First Parent and Tot drop-in for will be Tuesday Sept. 14th
First Kindergym drop-in will be Monday Sept. 27th

Family programs provide social and recreational opportunities for families to engage and build supportive relationships with other families. Activities include informal playtime drop-ins, kindergym, pre-registered groups and a licensed preschool. We also assist families and individuals in accessing resource services in the community.

We thank all our supportes for help in creating a positive family-friendly atmosphere in our neighbourhood.

Parent & Tot Drop-in (Birth-5 yrs)

An opportunity for young children and their caregivers to meet and play in an informal atmosphere with toys, books and crafts. Snack provided. Group may not meet on school holidays and Professional Development days.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9 - 11 a.m.
Family Room / By donation

Kindergym (Walking-4 yrs)

A time for preschoolers and caregivers to play and learn together in a fun, positive environment. Gym equipment is setup upon which children can explore. Parent participation is required.

Mondays 9 - 10:30 a.m.
Garry Oak Room/ $2 (LIFE cards welcome)

Queer Parents Family Group

Join us Saturday afternoons for our group sessions to play,  do crafts and share family time in a safe positive community environment.   Parents and families of all ages welcome. 
This is a meaningful opportunity for learning and sharing our journey through all stages of parenting and building community connections. 
Please bring a snack to share.
Group meets monthly, the fourth  Saturday,  3:30- 5:30pm
